CRM Email Marketing Specialist

Location: Downtown Toronto

Reporting to: VP Marketing

With the support of the VP Marketing, the CRM Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building, implementing, and executing FlipGive’s behavioural communication strategy including all direct communications and rewards that will engage members throughout every stage of their journey with us.

FlipGive is a free team funding app that makes raising money a breeze. Teams earn cash back for buying the things they already need. Get paid whenever you shop, dine out, book hotels or activities.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Behavioural Communications

  • Implement and optimize a cross-channel lifecycle plan to engage members throughout their entire journey with FlipGive while improving key lifetime value metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design, test and effectively deploy all automated messaging programs including email, team feed messages, push notifications and remarketing.
  • Work with internal creative teams to develop content and contribute to copywriting, as needed
  • Develop technical requirements for all programs, as needed
  • Build and QA emails and workflows within our ESP
  • Track, measure and report on results
  • Monitor best practices and competitor activities related to customer lifecycle marketing
  • Identify and test initiatives (content, offers, messages) to help drive member activation and retention
  • Manage email tools and relationship with ESP to support consistent and appropriate engagement with members
  •  

    Targeted Offers + Promotions

  • Implement, execute and optimize a broad-based offers/retention program
  • Work collaboratively with data analytics team to develop campaigns and programs for targeting specific members and segments
  • Collaborate with internal groups (creative/design, merchandising, member success and development teams) to effectively deploy initiatives
  • Track, measure and report on results
  • Identify opportunities and new strategies to drive business growth for FlipGive
  •  

     

    WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • 3-5 years of lifecycle marketing experience in a high growth, customer-focussed environment
  • Strong familiarity and passion for data-driven CRM — you’re a performance driven marketer with experience creating and executing plans after analyzing customer behavior
  • Experience building and deploying segmented email campaigns is required
  • Experience with segmentation, lifecycle marketing and funnel analysis. Proven ability to drive action from analysis
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic - must be comfortable with ambiguity and rapid rates of change
  • A natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn
  • A strong communicator and ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Dedicated to constant refinement & improvement in every task you take on

    Accounting Assistant, Full Time

    Location: Downtown Toronto

    Reporting to: Finance Manager

It’s time consuming, awkward and you end up having to buy stuff you don’t really want or need. FlipGive helps keep kids in the game by offering a new, easy way to raise money.

    FlipGive has flipped giving on its head by transforming how fundraising happens. We’re passionate about using technology to drive positive social change and are proud to be the first internationally certified B Corporation.

     

    Position Profile:

    This is a great part time opportunity to learn the ropes of a tech start up in Toronto and be a part of the growing field of social innovation. You have to be detailed oriented, responsible and independent. Daily activities include office administration and accounting responsibilities. In return you are getting valuable experience and the amazing team to work with.

     

    Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting Finance Manager with day to day bookkeeping and office administration
  • Processing FlipGive payments and refunds for retailers and fundraisers
  • Performing AP/AR tasks, bank deposits and accounts reconciliation
  • Developing and maintaining an intimate understanding of FlipGive products
  • Taking ownership and helping us improve and enhance our internal processes and systems

    Skills & Experience Required

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
  • Good knowledge of Excel, MUST be able to work with pivot tables
  • Some accounting experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate Google Drive skills, including Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
